- EU milk production remains under control in January: -2.4% compared to January 2016.

- 22 Member States have reduced milk deliveries in January.

- Milk collection has still increased by 32 000 t in PL and 13 000 in NL.

- EU SMP production decreased in January by 8.1%: 11 000 t less than last year.

- Production of butter, WMP, fermented milk and concentrated milk have also dropped but in a lower scale.

- Cheese, drinking milk and cream are the only products expanding production in January.
