#EURegionsWeek 2022: Finalise your application! Let’s discuss together on Ukraine crisis

In the light of the crisis raised by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the #EURegionsWeek organisers invite all applicants to contribute to the discussion on the challenges emerging at European, regional and local level.

The current emergency is having a broad impact on aspects such as management of migration flows or soaring of energy prices as well as on the four thematic areas of this year’s edition: green transition, territorial cohesion, digital transition and youth empowerment.

Cohesion policy responded promptly through the CARE instrument (Cohesion’s Action for Refugees in Europe) and the EURegionsWeek would be an opportunity to nurture the debate and reflect on several open questions:

  1. What role do Regional and Local authorities play to address these challenges?
  2. How can the young generation contribute to the local debate on the European way of life that entails solidarity, peace and security?
  3. What is the role of cohesion policy as effective tool for solidarity and what are the implications for European policies on these four thematic clusters?

The EURegionsWeek 2022 will offer a timely occasion to discuss challenges and share best practices that will shape the debate for a more sustainable and inclusive Europe.

We look forward to your applications!

Apply here by 31 March!
