Programme Officer - Resilience and protection

Under the supervision of the Head of Section: The Programme Officer will contribute to the definition and implementation of EU-funded assistance managed by the Operations Section of the EU Delegation to Syria. The main emphasis of the job is on strengthening urban and rural resilience, protection issues (civil documentation, HLP rights, etc.), and urban recovery and analysis that could help mitigate the impact of the crisis on the Syrian people and provide the basis for peaceful and inclusive post-conflict recovery, and on horizontal support to the Head of Section. S/he is the focal point for the relations with the UN family (covering joint programming, multi-donor trust funds, etc.). This may however evolve and flexibility is important. In the areas of her/his responsibility, s/he will also be asked to provide analytical inputs on a regular basis for the EU to better align its assistance to Syria to the evolution of the conflict in line with the EU Strategy for Syria and the EU parameters for engagement.

Administration Assistant - IT Specialist

Under the supervision of the Head of Section, assist in ensuring the proper administration and management of the IT Tools needed to the functioning of the Finances, Contracts and Audit Section. In particular, in the framework of the PEGASE mechanism, covering project management aspects, organizational aspects (business process, project governance, change management process, etc.), and technical aspects (management of IT PEGASE contractors and IT PEGASE equipment, perform backups, supervise database development, support end-users).
