Policies and challenges in promoting the inclusion and participation of LGBTQI+ migrants

The Urban Agenda Partnership on Inclusion of Migrants and Refugees, the City of Mechelen and the Government of Flanders are organising a webinar on policies and challenges in promoting the inclusion and participation of LGBTQI+ migrants. The event will include presentations by the Rainbow Cities Network and the International Organization for Migration's Equalcity Project.

Prague: Symposium on borders, mobility of care and trans-local social reproduction

This event will focus on Central Europe, wherein the cross-border care market is based on an institutionalised combination of both inclusion (in the EU through access to the labour market) and exclusion (of migrant workers from some aspects of labour and social rights), and the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

EU's Horizon programme supports nature-based solutions for more inclusive and resilient communities

The EU's Horizon Europe programme facilitates collaboration and strengthens the impact of research and innovation in developing, supporting and implementing EU policies while tackling global challenges. Under one of its funding streams, initiatives concerned with both tackling the climate crisis and promoting the integration and inclusion of third country migrants could be eligible for funding.
