Europe: Consultations on 2007-2013 European Integration & Refugee Funds open
With the deadline of 9 August 2016, the European Commission is inviting stakeholders and the public to respond to four consultations on:
- European Fund for the Integration of third-country nationals (EIF) actions for 2007-2010
- European Fund for the Integration of third-country nationals (EIF) actions for 2011-2013
- European Refugee Fund (ERF) actions for 2008-2010
- European Refugee Fund (ERF) actions for 2011-2013
Contributions are sought from individuals, authorities, NGOs (especially migrant-run associations), academic institutions, international and EU institutions (particularly those that led, partnered or benefited from these projects). All calls are accompanied by online questionnaires, background documents and a glossary.
The aim of the consultation is to collect views and opinions on the results and impacts of actions co-financed by the EU (annual programmes as well as Community actions) during this period and to assess their relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, coherence and complementarity, and EU added value. Moreover, through these Consultations, the Commission aims at collecting opinions and comments that would feed the reflection on the improvement of the implementation of the EU asylum, integration and migration policy. The results will be included in the Commission post evaluation reports on the respective funds, which will also be accessible for stakeholders involved in the implementation of the EU asylum, integration and migration policy.
