Europe: Call for proposals to enable European collaboration among migrant entrepreneurship support schemes

With this Call for Proposals, DG Growth sets another step towards fostering the creation, improvement and wider spread of support schemes for migrant entrepreneurs. Projects receiving this EU-funding will focus on the networking of organisations working in the field of migrant entrepreneurship, while facilitating mutual learning, the exchange of good practice and the emergence of strategic collaborations. They shall bring together relevant players at national and regional levels into trans-national networks, to work together based on the existing evidence of what is effective and to achieve better impact. As a result, more migrants will be led to starting new and sustainable businesses, increase entrepreneurial activities, create jobs and better integrate.

Eligible applicants (including consortia) are organisations that are active in the economic and social integration of migrants and/or in provide support services to entrepreneurs and would-be entrepreneurs. Such entities may include public authorities and administrations (at the national, regional or city level); chambers of commerce and industry, and similar bodies; business associations and business support networks; business support organisations and incubators; NGOs, non-profit organisations, associations and foundations working with migrants; private and public entities specialised in education and training.

Selected projects will start in June 2017 and can last up to 36 months. The maximum budget per project allocated for EU financing under this call is 375.000 €, with a maximum EU financing rate of 90%.

The deadline for application is 20 December 2016. Download the call's documents
