Europe: Call for expressions of interest for the 4th European Migration Forum
The European Commission and the European Economic and Social Committee are inviting stakeholders to express their interest in participating to the 4th meeting of the European Migration Forum which will take place on 6-7 March 2018 in Brussels. Next year's edition of the Forum will focus on the labour market integration of migrants.
Participants will discuss obstacles and challenges to the labour market integration of all migrants, as well as a reflect on solutions and good practices employed by civil society organisations, and local, regional and national level governments. Discussions will among other topics cover skills development, entrepreneurship, working conditions, discrimination and diversity at the workplace. One complementary session will be dedicated to access to EU funding. Other topics suggested by participants may also be considered if they are closely linked to the main topic of the Forum.
Overall, the event will have an interactive, participatory approach and feature workshops, discussion islands and other opportunities to participate in the debate and to work in groups. During the evening reception, participants can also present some successful projects to others in a form of a gallery/stands.
