Czech Republic: Vaccine registration opens for uninsured migrants (Unofficial translation)
Last week the Czech Republic's Ministry of Health launched vaccination registration for those foreigners residing in the country on a long-term basis who lack access to the public health insurance system.
The reservation system will offer these individuals specific vaccination sites, where there will be staff available who speak foreign languages. There will be at least one vaccination site for this group in each region, and six in Prague. The Comirnaty vaccine will be used.
Health Minister Adam Vojtěch said that the system will accept users' phone numbers and email addresses. When an individual arrives to be vaccinated they will need to have with them both a document verifying their identity and their residency permit.
The price per dose will not exceed CZK 810 (EUR 31), and the vaccination sites will allow payment for vaccination on the spot.
