Canada-EU Migration Platform: Integration of Migrant Women
As part of their Migration Platform launched in 2016, the EU and Canada organise this year a series of events and discussions to look at the integration of migrant women on both sides of the Atlantic.
On this page you will find the program, the reports and videos of the meetings, as well as a series of podcasts which will be broadcast in the coming weeks.
The final closing session will be streamed live on EWSI here on 18 December 2020, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of International Migrants Day. Together with migrant women speakers Anila Noor and Iman Daboussy, European Commissioner for Home Affairs Ylva Johansson, and Canadian Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Marco Mendicino will share their insights and expertise.
A series of closed webinars will take place over the next four weeks. You will find here links to articles summarising the events' key points shortly after the webinars take place. A highlights video will also be uploaded. In addition, the 18 December closing event will also be recorded and featured on EWSI.
