Portugal: AMIF funding for health (Unofficial translation)

The High Commission for Migration has published a new funding opportunity within the framework the Portuguese budget of the European Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). It calls actors promoting third country nationals' access to health care services in Portugal to submit their projects by 26 June 2018, 5PM. 

Eligible projects should:

  • develop materials, campaigns and trainings on access to health for third country nationals (TCNs)
  • raise awareness among healthcare professionals for across the country and train them, notably on how to welcome and integrate TCNs, as well as on how to prevent prejudice and discrimination in the health sector
  • design and update materials and technical-pedagogical resources to support professionals, volunteers, institutions and associations, as well as to facilitate the development and dissemination of other initiatives.
  • promote the exchange of experiences and good practices to improve the quality of services provided and to adapt it to TCNs needs

With a total value of 140,000 €, this call for proposals opened in the scope of the Specific Objectives OE2-Integration and Legal Migration and ON2-Integration of the Portuguese AMIF National Programme. The maximum co-financing rate is 75% of the total eligible cost of each approved project.

Applications must be submitted electronically by 26 June.
