Czech Republic: AMIF calls n° 11 and 12 now open

The Czech Interior Ministry´s Department of European Funds announces 2 calls for proposals within the national AMIF scheme. The first is dedicated to organisations providing legal and translation/interpreting support to those applying for international protection or wishing to regularise their stay after expiration of their residence permits; while the second is intended for organisations to build a system of registration for both persons applying for international protection and asylum holders. 

Provision of pro-bono legal services to the 3rd country nationals who do not comply with the conditions for legal entry or have ceased to comply with the conditions for legal stay in the country:     

    • provision of legal services to applicants for international protection
    • provision of interpreting/translation services
    • assistance in dealing with institutions
    • pleading client´s case
    • provision of information on (voluntary) returns
    • provision of legal counselling to persons

Development of ICT system to monitor and manage asylum proceedings, as well as to provide statistical data on both applicants and asylum holders:

    • setting up the information system
    • purchase of necessary hardware
    • tuition of future users of the system

Project proposals are to be submitted on 7 August 2017 for the first call and on 31 August 2017 for the second call.
