Integrated Communities Strategy Green Paper
On 14 March 2018, the British Government released a new green paper setting out its vision for social integration throughout the UK. The document entitled Integrated Communities describes strategies to build strong integrated communities where people – whatever their background – live, work, learn and socialise together, based on shared rights, responsibilities and opportunities.
The green paper sets out the programme of actions the government proposes to take across government departments and levels. These include:
- supporting new migrants and resident communities
- boosting English Language
