Warsaw – 3rd EUMIGRO Conference – Migration and integration in the EU

The 3rd EUMIGRO Conference entitled ‘Migration and integration in the European Union – facts, figures, challenges and policy responses’ will be held on 26 March 2019 in Warsaw. The conference will feature two keynote speeches—by professors Stefania Panebianco and Rinus Penninx—followed by five expert panels with the participation of representatives of universities, public institutions, international organisations and NGOs.

Panel discussions

  • Roundtable debate: European Union – managing migration, actors and strategies
  • Immigration to the EU – regional developments and EU external policies
  • Migration in the EU – internal challenges and policy responses
  • Migration in the EU – Member States’ perspective
  • Migration in the EU – Poland’s perspective

The conference is organised by the Department of Political Studies of the Collegium of Socio-Economics at SGH Warsaw School of Economics, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Poland (KAS) and the Research Committee 46 – Migration and Citizenship of the International Political Science Association (IPSA), in partnership with numerous academic and civil society organisations. It will be held under the Honorary Patronage of the European Commission Representation in Poland.

The event is free of charge and will be held in English. Those interested in attending should fill out the registration form.
