Tartu, Estonia – Seminar on diversity and inclusion in cities
UNHCR and the Council of Europe kindly invite participants to a seminar about the Intercultural Cities Programme ‘Diversity and inclusion in cities’, to be held on 23 May 2019 at the Tartu Public Library. The seminar is organised in a partnership with the City of Tartu and International House Tartu.
The Council of Europe’s Intercultural Cities is a capacity-building programme which supports cities in developing, implementing and evaluating local diversity and inclusion strategies. The seminar will introduce the Intercultural City concept and approach to Estonian local and regional authorities, with a view to their joining the Intercultural Cities programme. The seminar also aims to gain the involvement of national authorities and civil society organisations.
The working language of the seminar will be English with simultaneous translation into Estonian. Those interested in attending the seminar should register by 22 May 2019 at 17:00.
