The Institute of Public Affairs in Poland is organising a conference summarising the six-year research project of the National Integration Evaluation Mechanism' (NIEM), which aimed to monitor and evaluate key areas of the integration of beneficiaries of international protection in 15 EU countries.
During the event, both the results of the entire project and the report on Poland, which has particular focus on housing, will be presented. One of the sessions will be devoted to the construction of evaluation tools for migration policies and the reform of integration policies. In the last session, special attention will be paid to integration from a local perspective and local migration strategies, using the Pomorskie region as an example.
The conference is addressed to various actors active in the field of refugee integration in Poland, including representatives of UNHCR, central administration, local authorities, academia, and civil society organisations, as well as to beneficiaries of international protection themselves.
