Participatory Governance and Involvement of Civil Society in Intercultural Policy-making
Lithuania-based Kaunas Regional Development Agency invites participation in international event "Participatory governance and involvement of civil society in intercultural policy-making". The three-day programme has been designed to encourage discussion on issues related to diversity development, migrant and ethnic minority integration policy and the practical application of the principle of participatory governance. The conference is funded by European Union programme, "Europe for Citizens".
Insights will be shared by experts representing ministries, municipalities, associations, non-governmental organisations, cultural initiatives, and social service centres.
Registered participants will be invited to join an interactive session on each of the three days:
- "Participatory governance and intercultural policy-making" (April 13, 10:00 to 14:00 CET);
- "Policy of national minorities in Lithuania and challenges to local application of participatory governance" (April 14, 10:00 to 13:15 CET);
- "Integration processes and social services for migrants" (April 15, 10:00 to 11:00 CET).
