The Institute of Public Affairs is organising an event on the self-organisation, self-advocacy and social participation of migrants in Poland.
During the first part of the event the recently published report, 'Diagnosis of the situation of organisations and initiatives of people with migration and refugee experience in Poland' will be discussed. As research shows, migrant and refugee organisations and initiatives in Poland are very diverse in terms of representation of communities or nationalities, as well as in terms of their size, form and model of organisation, and geographical distribution. The second part of the event will focus on the issue of how migrant and refugee organisations can speak with one voice for the rights of people with migration and refugee experience.
Event discussion will involve representatives of various migrant organisations.
