Malta – UNHCR Business Information Session
On 10 April 2019, UNHCR is hosting a Business Information Session for individuals who want to start a business or need further information on how to run a business in Malta. Open to everyone, the session is especially geared toward migrants and refugees, and interpretation into Arabic, Somali and Tigrinya can be provided upon request.
- The services offered by Business 1st, a website with information on starting and running a business in Malta, and the documentation needed to open a business
- Different legal formats for businesses
- How to employ workers
- Trade licenses (depending on the needs of the participants)
To attend the session, interested individuals should complete the registration forms (attached), available in both English and Arabic. Registration forms must be returned to firstname.lastname@example.org by 3 April 2019.
The session is jointly organised with Business 1st, Jobsplus, the Department of Industrial and Employment Relations (DIER) and the Integration Unit of the Ministry for European Affairs and Equality.
