The consultations for the topics of the 7th European Migration Forum (EMF) have now started.
The forum will take place on 19-20 October 2022. Each year, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and the European Commission (EC) organise the two-day event to facilitate the dialogue between civil society and EU policy makers on key migration, asylum, and integration issues.
As in previous years, the organisers have launched consultations with civil society on the topic of the forum, which include an online survey and a virtual meeting to take place on 21 April. Those interested may take part in both, or choose to only contribute to the survey or the virtual event.
In light of the 2022 European Year of Youth, the organisers propose to focus the discussions on youth-related topics, and invite youth organisations to engage actively.
Those interested may fill in the online survey by 5 April 2022.
The survey will inform the following consultation meeting, and will help define the topics of the upcoming forum under the overarching theme of youth.
The virtual meeting will take place on 21 April from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm CET via Microsoft Teams. All civil society organisations interested in the forum are welcome to attend.
In order to join, register by 8:30 am CET on 19 April 2022.
