Europe Direct Centres in Malta

Europe Direct is a network of 424 information offices in the European Union part-financed by the European Commission, with the overall objective of providing citizens with easy access to information about the EU and its activities.

For the period May 2021 to December 2025, three Europe Direct centres were designated to offer their services in Malta and Gozo. These are: Europe Direct Valletta managed by Servizzi Ewropej f’Malta – SEM; Europe Direct CORE managed by CORE Platform, and; Europe Direct Gozo, managed by the Gozo Business Chamber.

Europe Direct is one of the main tools of the European Commission to engage with citizens on EU-related topics at local and regional level, with the mission to provide EU citizens with information about the EU, referring them to specialised information services and signposting to other services and networks. Additionally, Europe Direct centres stimulate debate through the organisation of conferences and events, and channel citizens’ feedback to the EU.
