To increase the quality of the preventative work carried out with women and children victims of domestic violence.
The project carried out comparative research on the current work practices and training concepts of the two organisations in Germany and the UK. The results were assessed by an evaluation group.
The project also included two conferences, but the first was attended by only 26 women, and the second, in Germany, by just eight women.
The outcome of the project was a final report with the results of the research.
An external evaluation of this project pointed out that it was the first time the organizations had been involved in EU project activity and that they had learned a great deal. However, the results did not take sufficiently into account work already done or being done in Europe, so did not produce anything new on a European level.
