Contract Staff members perform a variety of tasks ranging from scientific/technical tasks to administrative and manual tasks, under the supervision of officials or temporary staff. There are four function groups (FG), each with different eligibility criteria, salaries and tasks. The relevant information concerning each function group can be found below:
Since the beginning of March 2011, FG IV, FG III and FG II are referred to as auxiliary contract staff and FG I as contract staff.
