We are doing science for policy
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
The European Science and Technology Network on Unconventional Hydrocarbon Extraction (UH Network) will be established and managed by the JRC, on the basis of the guidance provided by the Steering group composed of DG ENV, ENER, RTD, CLIMA, GROWTH (former ENTR) and JRC. DG ENV and ENER will co-chair the Steering group.
The Mandate of the Network can be found as Annex I in this document.
The steering group established rules of procedure and of management for the Network. These can be found as Annex II in this document.
