Topics treated during the theoretical part of the course are:  Fundamentals and methods of metrology for ND&WM. Implementation of techniques with practical measurements: Gamma spectrometry for waste; Gamma measurement for clearance; Passive neutron counting; Destructive analysis for plant and waste characterisation. Validation of methods, inter-comparisons, standards, international networks

This training is suitable for Nuclear Safeguards Inspectors and Supporting Staff

The topics treated during the theoretical part of the course are:  Presentation of different tanks and their calibration methods; acquisition and evaluation of data. Participants acquire skills necessary for inspection of nuclear facilities

This is a five-day course given annually by the JRC.GII.7 unit with DG ENER/IAEA at JRC Ispra and is delivered in English.

This training is suitable for EU MS data providers

Topics treated during the theoretical part of the course are:  REM database Basics; New check tool; Exercises. The user will learn how to submit and validate data into the REM db.
