We are doing science for policy
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
Ilias Kostarakos joined the JRC in 2021. He holds a MPhil and a PhD in Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is an applied macroeconomist and his research interests include Applied Macroeconomics with a focus on Fiscal Policy and the evolution of the labour share, Growth Empirics with an emphasis on the role of intangible capital, and Financial Development.
The Commission is calling for applications for the selection of members of the Scientific, Technical and Economic Committee for Fisheries (STECF).
The deadline for applications is 15 November 2021.
