We are doing science for policy
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
Final preparations are underway for the 3rd annual Citizen Engagement and Deliberative Democracy Festival, which runs from 6-12 December, 2020.
Registration is open for the week-long event, which will be held entirely online in accordance with COVID-19 regulations. The Festival is open to all, aiming to bring together people of diverse backgrounds that are interested in, and working on, citizen engagement and deliberative democracy within and outside Europe.
The course will give an insight into components of a Root Cause Analysis Report. It will also explain how to use Probabilistic Safety Assessment modeling for analysis of event precursors.
This training is aimed to provide attendees with the following abilities:
• To be able to evaluate and use a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) report prepared by a licensee.
• To understand the objectives of Precursor Analysis, as well as their pre-requisites, potentials and limitations.
