On 21 March 2018, the Commission presented its proposal establishing rules at EU level to ensure the fair and effective taxation of the digital economy.

JRC scientists have supported the package by providing data and estimates on corporate profit allocation of Web companies and by analysing the macroeconomic impact of the proposal.

Purpose and Scope

The purpose of this two-day workshop is to bring together policy analysts and researchers from the European Commission and the academia, to foster a practical exchange of ideas and experiences related to the impacts, uses and abuses of indicators, and to explore the implications for the design of scoreboards and indicator frameworks.
