Transuranus Fuel performance code

Acronym: TRANSURANUS

Description

The TRANSURANUS fuel performance code is a key instrument for the thermal, mechanical and neutron-physical analysis of a cylindrical fuel rod in nuclear reactors. Therefore, it combines the interacting phenomena by taking into account all relevant thermal, mechanical and isotopic properties of nuclear fuel, most of them changing during reactor operation or long-term storage. The code is applied for design as well as for licensing of nuclear fuel, by various research centres, universities, nuclear safety authorities and industrial partners across Europe.

Datasets are sample datasets organised in input and output.
