netBravo - measuring internet signal to map connection quality across the EU

netBravo is a free mobile application intended to map the speed, quality and access to the internet. Once installed on the smartphone, netBravo samples the radio waves and monitors the quality of wireless signals in the user's surroundings. The app records technical parameters of the signals that a mobile device is able to receive – Wi-Fi, 4G, 3G, and GSM – and as the user moves around, it feeds information to a map of Europe.

netBravo is available for smartphones and tablets running iOS and Android. It uses very little bandwidth and power and has a strong privacy policy.
