We are doing science for policy
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
The Incident and Threat Information Sharing EU Centre for the Energy Sector (ITIS-EUC) collects, analyses and disseminates information on incidents and vulnerabilities in the energy sector, with the aim to improve the situational awareness of Critical Energy Infrastructures (CEIP). The web application includes a reserved area for registered members (European Agencies and Institutions, Transmission System Operators, Distribution System Operators, utilities from the gas, electricity and oil sector, etc.) to facilitate information sharing. The information published by ITIS-EUC comes from publicly available sources.
