We are doing science for policy
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
26 events across Europe were selected. They will each deal with a policy topic of specific interest to the country or region concerned. Policy makers will meet scientists to discuss the issues at hand, and the general public will also be invited. The aim is to promote a culture of evidence-based policymaking across Europe, and to reach out to EU member states, regions and cities.
You can find an overview on the map below, or in the list of events further down.
