We are doing science for policy
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
The JRC openly welcomes all kinds of queries from TV, radio, print and online media. We have an active policy of informing media on our ongoing activities and research results.
We regularly organise laboratory visits, technical briefings and press conferences and can provide competent interview partners on specific scientific topics.
Subscribe to our RSS service to be notified of new events and press releases.
