We are doing science for policy
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
Patrizio Lecca Joined the JRC in 2015. He holds an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Cagliari and a PhD in economics from the same university. Before joining the European Commission, Patrizio worked at the University of Strathclyde and at the Fraser of Allander Institute in Scotland. His main research interests include regional economics, environmental and energy economics. His current work in the REMO team focuses mainly on general modelling development.
