We are doing science for policy
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
Dr. José M. Rueda-Cantuche, scientific research officer of the European Commission, coordinates the JRC Input-Output Economics team. He is Council Member of the International Input-Output Association (2007-2015), President of the Hispanic American Input-Output Society (2013-2016), Director of the International School of Input-Output Analysis (2010-2015), Board Member of the UN Handbook on Supply, Use and Input-Output Tables and Analysis (2014-2015) and Newsletter Editor of the International Input-Output Association (2007-2009). He is well recognized in the input-output academic community provided by his more than 60 publications in international journals and scientific books and his numerous participations in FP projects like EXIOPOL and WIOD together with other projects for various Directorate Generals of the European Commission (TRADE, ECFIN and ESTAT).
