We are doing science for policy
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
Giovanni Mandras joined the JRC in 2016. He graduated in Political Science at the University of Sassari, attended the MSc in Economic management and Policy-International Financial Markets at the Strathclyde Business School (UK) and holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Cagliari. Giovanni's research focuses mainly on economic impact analysis with a specific focus on regional economics and macroeconomic modelling. His current work in the REMO team regards the organization of the model data base, and Input Output modelling.
