We are doing science for policy
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
Estefanía Vázquez Torres is a scientific/technical support officer working in the Fiscal Policy Analysis team at JRC – Seville. She assists the tax modelling researchers for the use and preparation of fiscal data in support of tax policy recommendations. She also collaborates in the development and improvement of the web interface of the modelling tool EUROMOD.
Previously she worked as an IT expert at JRC-Seville providing technical support to several research projects.
She holds a degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Seville.
