We are doing science for policy
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
Participants to this scientific debate organised by the JRC will take a journey into a data mining exercise to discover the potential contribution of the EU aid to improving food security and nutrition status of millions of people in the West African Sahel. Participants will also have the opportunity to try Europe Aid Explorer to explore development aid data.
The JRC is co-organising, together with the University of Halle, the University of Cassino and the University of Naples, the International Conference on Robust Statistics (ICORS) 2014.
