    Second Workshop on the proposal for a voluntary EU accreditation scheme for breast cancer services and the further development of the European breast cancer guidelines Organised by the JRC-IHCP Cancer Policy Support Group

    On 10 June 2008, the European Council invited the Commission to explore the potential to develop a voluntary accreditation scheme for cancer screening and follow-up of lesions detected as well as to develop and update evidence-based guidelines on cancer.
