The anual Datacentres Code of Conduct Awards will be delivered at the Datacloud Europe 2015 Congress and Exhibition in Monaco on 2 June at 20:00
The European Code of Conduct Awards were created in response to the increasing energy consumption in data centres and the need to reduce the related environmental, economic and energy supply security impacts. The aim is to inform and stimulate data centre operators and owners to reduce their energy consumption in a cost effective way.
The event will focus on raising awareness of the benefits of standardisation from the research and innovation process by examining the transfer of research results and outcomes of innovation activities into standardisation.
This workshop will be of particular interest to researchers performing experimental or modelling work in any aspect of fuel rod behaviour, particularly cladding interactions with fuel and coolant under high sustained temperature, rapid heat-up & quenching conditions like during design basis accident conditions.

The Petten Research Park celebrates its 60th anniversary. This means 60 years of research in Petten, from nuclear to sustainable energy research.
In 1955 the Reactor Centrum Nederland (RCN, which changed its name to Energieonderzoek Centrum Nederland, ECN, in 1976) was established. Many things have changed since 1955. What impact has the research have had through the years on our society? What aspects of the research are visible in your daily life and what can you expect in the future in Petten?
Saturday 13th June you can visit the Petten Research Park from 10:00 to 16:00.
