A five days intersemester course on Nuclear Fuels. is organized within the framework of the EURATOM FP7 GENTLE project. The course comprises of Lectures by experts and Laboratory visits with practical training.
This presentation argues that in order to understand Big Data and its societal consequences, a combination of ethical and epistemological analysis is needed as certain ethical implications – e.g., related to issues of anonymity and privacy – can only be properly assessed if the underlying epistemic practices – e.g., new ways of re-identification and de-anonymization – are recognized and taken into account.

The Mid-Term Workshop will enable “programme owners” and “programme managers” in EU Member-States to evaluate the feasibility and the added-value of the implementation of Joint Programming at European level.
