The European Code of Conduct Awards were created in response to the increasing energy consumption in data centres and the need to reduce the related environmental, economic and energy supply security impacts. The aim is to inform and stimulate data centre operators and owners to reduce their energy consumption in a cost effective way.
The event will focus on raising awareness of the benefits of standardisation from the research and innovation process by examining the transfer of research results and outcomes of innovation activities into standardisation.

The 3-day summer school will bring together scientists and policy-makers from the field of energy to learn how to better use evidence for policy-making.
The workshop aims at gathering information on the status of implementation of polices and strategies for energy efficiency in public buildings, the current barriers and the enabling factor, the potential for energy efficiency and energy services, and to present some best practices.
