The course will give an insight into components of a Root Cause Analysis Report. It will also explain how to use Probabilistic Safety Assessment modeling for analysis of event precursors.

Description:

This training is aimed to provide attendees with the following abilities:

• To be able to evaluate and use a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) report prepared by a licensee.

• To understand the objectives of Precursor Analysis, as well as their pre-requisites, potentials and limitations.

• To understand the synergies between deterministic and probabilistic approaches in the analysis of operational events.

For whom:

The training is primarily meant for the members of the European Clearinghouse. Limited number of places may also be available to eligible JRC staff.

Virtual meting using the Web-based Videoconference application Microsoft Teams.
