We are doing science for policy
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
The objective of the workshop is to discuss with relevant stake-holders the definition of socio-economic and environmental scenarios for the Danube Region - focusing on different topics, such as population projections, economic trends (including transport and energy), factors related to technological innovation and the role of EU investment and development policies.
