We are doing science for policy
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
The JRC-managed Smart Specialisation Platform is organising a Peer eXchange and Learning (PXL) workshop on Entrepreneurial Discovery Process (EDP), Policy Instruments and Monitoring in Aarhus. During this workshop, Helsinki - Uusimaa (FI), Kymeenlaakso (FI), Tallinn (EE), Liepaja (LV), Klaipeda (LT), Pomorskie (PL), Berlin-Braderburg (DE) and Central Denmark (DK) will present their experiences in operationalising EDP, designing and implementing policy instruments and monitoring their respective RIS3.
The workshop will be based on the PXL methodology developed by the S3 Platform over the past years and it is organised as part of the Innovation Camp hosted by the Smart-Up BSR project in Aarhus.
