The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
Food security is one the biggest challenges countries have to face.
The intermediate objective of the workshop is to analyse and exchange key findings of research activities on the role of the farming structure on food security in several countries, with a strong focus on Ukraine (European Neighbourhood Policy Partner Country), Russia, Turkey (Candidate country) and Belarus (European Neighbourhood Policy Partner Country).
