The JRC IPTS Agrilife Unit (Agritrade Project) organises a one-day workshop in Seville gathering policy and data experts in order to discuss an accurate representation of EU domestic support for modelling purpose.

The GTAP database is the main data source used for global applied trade analysis, especially with computable general equilibrium (CGE) models.

In 2014, JRC IPTS Agrilife Unit has joined the GTAP database contributing team for the EU domestic support. During the workshop, it is expected that specialists from the European Commission, OECD, GTAP and academia will share expertise on new features, sources and methodologies.
