We are doing science for policy
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is organising a series of workshops to provide an interdisciplinary forum for the presentation and discussion of fundamental aspects of nanobiosciences.
This workshop is organised by the JRC with the participation of experts from the New Member States and Associated Countries.
The focus of the 2015 event will be on nanomaterials characterisation in the field of nanomedicine. The workshop will focus on physico-chemical and biological characterisation of nanovectors in relation to their biological effect and biodistribution. Scientists are invited to present a description of the state of the art in research and development in the bio interfaces and nanotoxicology field in their own countries.
