We are doing science for policy
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the JRC had to cancel the Integrated Administration and Control System (IACS) workshop planned in Stuttgart and postpone the 26th MARS Conference (scheduled to be held in Barcelona) until conditions improve.
Nevertheless, JRC activities on IACS did not stop during this period. In collaboration with Member States who adopted checks by monitoring (CbM) and with DG AGRI, we developed several solutions, methodologies and tools. It is now time to share these findings among our IACS community members.
This technical webinar aims to inform the IACS community about the recent outputs from the JRC on technical guidance and the various Sentinel uses.
The full-day technical webinar will be held on Thursday 5 November 2020, starting at 9h15 CET (so providing 10 minutes for connecting) till 17h30.
The webinar is organised in four sessions covering:
Under this webinar format, we focus on JRC output and, unfortunately, cannot call for contributions from the community.
The language in the webinar will be English.
The webinar is open to any technical expert involved in CAP (Common Agricultural Policy) controls.
