We are doing science for policy
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
Europe’s social, economic and political situation is the topic of this webinar. Originally conceived as conference, it has been turned into an online event due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The webinar aims to connect scholars working on European issues all over the world and to strengthen their cooperation, particularly in this period of high human, social, economic and political distress.
Economists and political scientists are invited to debate about design of institutions and policies in and for Europe. The discussion will focus on the North-South, East-West and rural-urban divide in Europe.
Registration is ongoing - details on the participation will be sent by email to registered participants.
This conference is co-organised by the Center for European Studies (CefES) of the University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy, and the JRC.
