We are doing science for policy
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
A TrainMiC® Training of new Trainers event will be organised from 16 to 18th December at the IRMM with 24 candidate trainers participating.
Trainees come from Albania, Belarus, Belgium, Georgia, Hungary, Jordan, Latvia, Morocco and Ukraine. The breadth of technical expertise ranges from measurements in the area of food, environmental, clinical and nuclear analysis. New training teams will soon be set up in Morocco and Jordan. Anyone wishing to attend this training may send an expression of interest, with a summary of revelant experience to JRC-IRMM-TRAINMIC@ec.europa.eu by the 29th November.
